PARIS21 at the UN World Data Forum 2023

The 2023 UN World Data Forum aims to spur data innovation, nurture partnerships, mobilize high-level political and financial support for data, and build a pathway to better data for sustainable development. The stakeholder community represents a diverse range of governments, civil society, the private sector, donor and philanthropic bodies, international and regional agencies, the geospatial community, the media, academia, and professional bodies.

PARIS21 has been a part of the UN World Data Forum programme committee since the first World Data Forum was hosted in Cape Town, South Africa in 2017. PARIS21 has hosted and participated in many exciting sessions and events throughout the last six years. 

Join PARIS21 and our partners at the 2023 UN World Data Forum in Hangzhou, China, in person and online for a series of events exploring topics such as citizen-generated data for building inclusive data ecosystems, trust in data to help bridge communities, accelerating gender equality through data, unlocking data ecosystems for more effective and inclusive climate action, how engaging parliamentarians in development data is changing the landscape for National Statistical Offices, and how a system-wide approach to health data could help us be better prepared for the next pandemic.
