CEMR/PLATFORMA Parallel Event - Cities Forging the Path to Gender Justice
This year, CEMR/PLATFORMA will organise an in-person parallel event at the 67th UN Commission on the Status of Women, on 6 March 2023, at 10:30 EST entitled “Cities forging the path to gender justice”. As part of PLATFORMA’s work to foster city-to-city and region-to-region development cooperation and its efforts to strengthen exchanges among local elected women globally, CEMR is partnering with UCLG Africa and the Standing Committee for the Euro Mediterranean Partnership of Local and Regional Authorities (COPPEM) to demonstrate the power of international partnerships and the potential for Equality Charters to achieve more equitable societies.
