Upcoming Webinars Open to Public

In the context of the currently ongoing E-learning course 'Enhancing Development Effectiveness for Decentralisation and Local Governance', DeLoG will offer two webinars open to public.

The first webinar on ‘Localising the SDGs‘ will be in the 3rd week of May. The webinar will discuss the key role that local governments play in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the key commitment to ‘leave no one behind’, as well as the question in how far decentralisation can support the localisation of the SDGs.

The second webinar will be conducted in the 1st week of June and will discuss the topic of ‘Local Governance in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Settings’. It aims to provide an enhanced understanding of the role that local governance can play in securing sustainable pathways to peace and development in fragile and conflict-affected settings, and of the different factors that shape the success of decentralisation and local governance approaches in such contexts.
