The ICLEI City Resilience Stories Webinar Series presents David Jácome Polit and Piero Pelizzaro, Chief Resilience Officers from Quito and Milan in the webinar “COVID-19: Coping, Learning & Building Urban Resilience”. From Italy to Ecuador, the city CRO’s will be sharing experiences from their cities in coping with the COVID-19 pandemic. The impact and responses to the pandemic differ between prevention and reaction, as well as in terms of city size, institutional capacity, population affected, community engagement, and restrictions to public life. The webinar will address issues related to disaster response, distribution of aid, vulnerable populations, multi-level governance, and jurisdiction competencies in the context of a sanitary crisis.
