In 2020, 51 countries will be reporting to the UN on their progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). UCLG and the CIB Working Group are organizing a series of webinars on 15 & 16 April (in FR/EN/ES) on the role of local and regional governments and their associations in this reporting process, to ensure that the important work of local and regional governments on this agenda receives enough visibility and attention.

Content of the webinars

The pedagogical basis for the webinar will be the UCLG Learning Module 3. It aims to increase the awareness for the integration of the local and regional level regarding SDG reporting. During the webinar, we will demonstrate concrete steps how you can actively participate in the reporting process. We will also share the experiences from the pilot project on SDG reporting that is led by the UCLG Research team. This pilot project is currently implemented in cooperation with the local government associations of Costa Rica, Benin, Kenya, Nepal and Mozambique.
