The Knowledge Platform Annual Conference (KPAC21) is the Platform's Annual event that brings together representatives from national and international governments and policy organs, think-thanks, journalists, INGO practitioners, activists, diplomats, and field researchers from around the globe. The aim is to present their latest projects and freshest ideas, and engage to learn and improve security and justice policy and programs.

KPAC21's theme is Asymmetric Power. Unequal distribution of power within the peace and development sectors has been a rising interest for the KPSRL community has become increasingly vocal about seizing this moment of upheaval to redress asymmetric power structures. From commitment to financing and accountability, and localising support.

Some of the sessions will potentially address the local level. Power structures run from global institutions right down through local groups. How can donors ensure that there is space for innovative and effective locally-driven initiatives? How can they support those supporting peace and security in their communities?

The KPAC21 is still looking for session proposals until 2 July. If you want to propose a session, please click here.
