Become a City Changer and Contribute to UN-Habitat's COVID-19 Campaign Survey
COVID-19 has had a significant impact on how people interact, work and travel. These changes have been particularly apparent in urban contexts. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to get a better understanding of what is happening in cities in order to appropriately address the crisis at this moment in time and to redefine the way we plan, design, build and manage cities in order to increase urban resilience.
With this in mind, UN-Habitat has been reaching out to hundreds of countries and cities as well as its global partners to increase the flow of information and assist in coordinating urban approaches. However, it has proven difficult to gain access to real time data concerning city responses and recovery processes and to provide information uniformly at the local level.
Therefore, UN-Habitat is calling on citizens around the world to provide data relating to the current situation in their city or neighborhood, the existing response measures and emerging impacts from the pandemic. The answers to these questions will help to get a more accurate impression of what is happening in urban areas across the world.
