Open Course
Objective
Enhancing the capacity of Development Partner's staff in the implementation of harmonised and aligned support to decentralisation and local governance.
Target Group
Open courses are designed for the staff of development agencies at HQ level and in field offices . Open courses can have a thematic focus such as fragility or sector decentralisation. Courses can be conducted in English, French and Spanish. In order to enrich the exchange of experiences, participants come from different development agencies and regions.

Organisation and funding
Courses are usually funded within a cost-sharing arrangement between one or several host agencies and the DeLoG Secretariat. The Secretariat will provide technical and methodological expertise. Host agencies are usually in charge of the organisation of the event, the contracting and funding of trainers as well as the course content and logistics.
