This third webinar will focus on the value of adopting an inclusive lens within open government and its impact on various sectors. We’ll examine and define feminist and inclusive open government, and their role in advancing open government efforts, as well as explore how this approach yields better decision-making.

Join our guest speakers, Larissa Vingilis-Jaremko, Founder and President of the Canadian Association for Girls in Science and Vice President of the Canadian Coalition of Women in Engineering, Science, Trades and Technology; Houda Halwani, Policy analyst, Gender-based Analysis plus Centre for Excellence at Women and Gender Equality Canada; and Naoufel Testaouni, Co-founder and President of Queertech, to explore the following questions:
• What are feminist and inclusive open government and how do they impact various sectors?
• What are the opportunities and barriers within the Government of Canada to adopting an inclusive lens?
• What is the value and impact of adopting an inclusive lens in decision-making and policy development?
• What are best practices and considerations to ensure underrepresented groups and marginalized communities are part of discussions?
