International Learning Session 'Local Economic Development' in Tunis

Enda Ecopop in collaboration with the Centre de Formation et d'Appui à la Décentralisation (CFAD) in Tunisia, the Etablissements Humains (UN Habitat) and the International Observatory of Participatory Democracy (OIDP) is organising an International Training Session on "Territorial Economic Development". The territorial economic development approach addresses challenges in this field by
- enabling local communities to work together to stimulate the activities on the local level to ensure a strong and sustainable economy,
- helping to create decent jobs and improve the quality of life, including that of the poor and marginalized.

The present international training session is part of this perspective and offers a new approach to the issue for local authorities and their private, public and community sector partners to find solutions through the Territorial Economic Development (TED) approach.
