Webinar: Participatory Urban Design

As part of a learning series for World Bank Staff, the Urban, Disaster Risk Management, Resilience & Land Global Practice (GPURL) at World Bank hosts three sessions on participatory urban design, disaster and urban resiliency for the housing sector, and demographic trends and urbanisation.

This webinar addresses the results of the Participatory Urban Design Project that took place in Maputo, Dhaka, and Santo Domingo. The project aimed to transfer knowledge and experience about participatory urban design processes to local governments . Additionally, participants were supported in the design of highly visible pilot interventions.

This session will highlight the value added of the participatory approach to designing neighborhoods.
