2019 Report of the World Observatory on Subnational Government Finance and Investment

The World Observatory of Subnational Government Finance and Investment is a joint endeavour led by the OECD and United Cities and Local Government (UCLG), with the support the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), the Development Partners Network on Decentralisation and Local Governance (DeLoG), and the French Development Agency (Agence Française de Développement, AFD).
At this first International Conference, the ‘2019 World Observatory Report’ has been presented together with the interactive web database of data on subnational government organisation and finance in over 120 countries. The report comes in two parts: one part presenting the key findings and a second part presenting country profiles for 120 countries. Since last year, the DeLoG-Network had the honor to contribute to this extremely important and valuable project and it intends to continue the support to the observatory.
